At AutoEstimate, we believe your shop data belongs to you — not us. We:
AutoEstimate is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We do not run any backend server that receives or stores your personal data.

AutoEstimate stores all app data in SwiftData on your device's local storage. If you have iCloud enabled on your device, this data is synced across your own devices using CloudKit private database — Apple's iCloud infrastructure.

If you disable iCloud on your device, data remains only on that device and is not synced. You can manage or delete your iCloud data at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
AutoEstimate generates PDF estimates entirely on your device using Apple's native PDF rendering APIs. No PDF data is sent to NVKLabs or any third-party server.
When you share a PDF estimate, you use the iOS Share Sheet — a native Apple feature. The PDF is sent as a file attachment through whatever channel you choose (SMS, email, iMessage, AirDrop, etc.). Once you tap Send in your chosen app, the delivery is handled by that app and its infrastructure, not by AutoEstimate or NVKLabs.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any service you use to share estimates with customers.
AutoEstimate offers an optional Pro subscription (monthly or annual) through Apple's In-App Purchase system, powered by StoreKit 2.
All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. NVKLabs never receives, sees, or stores your payment card information, billing address, or full purchase history. We receive only the information Apple provides to developers: subscription status (active/expired/trial), product identifier, and original purchase date.

AutoEstimate contains no advertising. We do not use any ad networks, user tracking SDKs, or behavioral analytics services. There are no third-party SDKs in the app that transmit your usage data to outside parties.
We do not build a profile of you or your customers. We do not share any data with data brokers or marketing companies.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. The only scenarios where we might share information are:
Your app data (customers, vehicles, estimates) is stored on your device and in your private iCloud and is retained until you delete it. Deleting the app removes local data. You can also delete your iCloud data through Apple's settings.
If you contacted us by email, we retain that correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, after which it may be deleted.
Waitlist email addresses are deleted once they are no longer needed for launch communication.
AutoEstimate is a professional tool intended for adults running auto repair businesses. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age.
NVKLabs does not sell personal information to any third party. This applies to any information you may provide through support contact, the waitlist, or any other channel.
Because your app data is stored locally on your device (and optionally in your own iCloud), you have full control over it at all times. You can view, edit, export, and delete all data within the app itself or through Apple's Settings.
If you have provided an email address to us directly (for support or the waitlist), you may request its deletion by emailing us at support@nvklabs.com. We will process such requests promptly.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. Because we hold very little personal data (only direct support emails and waitlist signups), exercising these rights typically means requesting deletion of that email address.
